I downloaded this as soon as I heard about this app as my three year old has severe allergies to dairy, egg and tree nuts. Unfortunately it is for the U.S. only and we are in Canada. Do not purchase this app as it doesnt work on any barcoded food in Canada.

Just tried it as Im lactose intolerant. Went to Ralphs to pick up some lunch, I scanned and it said no, and gave me an alternative. Some if the alternatives where a bit random, but worked well and scanned super fast.

I have a peanut allergy and this app saves me a ton of time finding food without reading every labels. Its so easy to use and has a large catalog of foods. I wish I found this a long time ago. Two thumbs up.

I went to the dollar tree and test this app on a product and it worked well then when I scanned a pack of Oreos and another item, it said it did not exist. I think that this a good app and with time and added food items, it could become a great app!

This app does not cover near enough foods. It is slow to respond when trying to set it up. I think it is a total waste of my money.

App crashes when scanning on iOS 8. Please update to make it work again!

I just spent $2.99 for an app that crashes. Not happy.

My wife and I got this app because of her sulfur allergies. This is a real time saver at the store not buying things she cannot eat.

This app has earned its placement on the home screen on my iPhone. It has helped make smarter decisions and go through my shopping quicker. Since I first started using it it has improved immensely.

In theory it sounds like a great app but when I went to go use it at the store none of the products I scanned showed up as listed, in fact very few did show up. The food scanned were basic general grocery items they werent anything out of the ordinary day In speaking with the developer via email I learned that there are companies such as whole foods do not allow their ingredients to be checked with this particular app which I find extremely frustrating especially having a gluten intolerance The developer shared that theyre adding more products and hopefully this app will be more useful in the future I will wait-and-see but for now I think its a great concept and hope to see it only improve

I hate how long it takes me to grocery shop because I have to read every single ingredient on just about everything I buy. I saw an ad for this app in a magazine and thought I would check it out. From the description in the app store it looked like it could be a lifesaver especially the paid version where you could scan items. If you only have mainstream allergies this might be true. However the watchlist only includes 16 items and many of the things Im allergic to are not on the list, making the app virtually useless for someone like me.

Good app. Want to see CORN and by products added to allergen list. HFCS big issue here

This is the worst app I have ever tried to use. First of all it has crashed my iPhone six several times. May not be compatible with the latest iOS. Also several of the gluten-free products that I typically purchase was not found when scanned. And I was also surprised that corn was not listed on the allergen profile. Do not purchase this app it is not worth the hassle.

This app is amazing, why hasnt anyone thought of this before. My allergy to nuts makes my life miserable with candy, but thanks to this app, I can find the right brand and avoid allergic reactions ! Thanks guys. Please add fruit allergies too!

What a useless app! When I filled in user name I didnt put in an email address (it didnt request one) and it allowed me to go to the next screen to choose my preferences. After I did so it wouldnt accept them and kept requesting an email address BUT it wouldnt t let me go back and put one in. It would only open to the useless page when I closed the app so I deleted it from my phone intending to reinstall but then it wanted to charge me again. Definitely a waste of $2.99 and not something Id try again.

Tried to scan something. It Couldnt read it so went back to main screen. Now it is frozen. So sad. Glad not out shopping depending on this. Perhaps maker can help and I would change my review.

Amazing app and should be something that is implemented across not only food and nutrition for many other products that exist! Kudos to the developers!!!!

Horrible app. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Can only choose from 16 foods (and 2 of them are celery and lupine). Instructs you to read label to confirm that scan is correct. So, whats the point of scanning if I still have to read label? Complete waste if $3. Deleting it now.

Settings button isnt working. Unable to access Allergies Page.

All in all I really like this app. I have 5 common allergies and I found them all in the app. I really like the feature where the app gives me alternatives of products that I can consume. So if I scan a product that contains gluten, which I am allergic to, I get suggestions of similar products without gluten. Awesome! Then I can just buy that product instead. I did however find that not all products where in the app, but most products where and they seems to add more products every day. All in all a 5 star app for me.
